Kuawala Factory Tin Shed Work

This shed was constructed in stepped levels because the site was approximately 5 feet lower than the main road level at the rear side. Since a good internal height was also required, we extended the foundation depth about 5 feet below the natural ground level.

RCC footings were provided using 16 mm reinforcement bars. The footing size was kept at 4 ft × 4 ft with a thickness of 1.5 ft. The RCC pedestal/column base was designed with a size of 14 in × 18 in, ensuring adequate strength and stability for the structure.

All reinforcement bars for the RCC columns were erected in such a way that they extended 1.5 ft above the road level. The required anchor bolts and threaded inserts were also positioned and fixed in advance within the columns, ensuring accurate alignment and facilitating the installation of the steel structure at a later stage.

A 12-inch × 12-inch base plate made from 10 mm thick steel was fixed on top of the RCC column. Over this base plate, a 6-inch × 6-inch square steel column fabricated from 3 mm thick steel was erected. The height of the steel column was 24 feet, providing the required elevation and structural support for the shed.

All the steel columns were interconnected using purlins and bracing members to ensure overall structural stability and resistance against lateral loads. The purlins used were 3 inches × 1.5 inches in size and were installed at 3-foot center-to-center spacing throughout the structure, providing adequate support for the roofing sheets and enhancing the rigidity of the shed framework.

The columns were further interconnected using ladder members (tie beams) at the top level. After completing the column connections, the roof trusses were installed over the structure. The trusses were designed with a front-to-back slope, allowing proper rainwater drainage and providing the required roof profile for the shed.

The roof trusses were also fabricated using 3-inch × 1.5-inch steel sections. Since the shed is currently open from the front side, the truss ends have been left exposed for future expansion. Whenever the front side of the shed is enclosed, the structure can be fully closed and finished on all four sides without major modifications.

Within this shed, we have constructed a prefabricated office, two rooms, and two toilets. One toilet has been provided for the labour staff, while the other is attached directly to the main office for staff and visitor use, ensuring convenience and functionality within the facility.

The office and room units are fully insulated, providing better thermal comfort and a more suitable working environment. The entire steel shed has been finished in Smoke Grey enamel paint, giving it a clean, professional appearance while also protecting the steel structure from corrosion.

The project was executed using modern fabrication equipment and the expertise of highly skilled craftsmen, ensuring quality workmanship and precise installation throughout the construction process.

The total covered area of the project is approximately 12,000 sq. ft., with an overall project value of around ₹32 lakh. This includes the structural framework, roofing, prefabricated office spaces, rooms, toilets, and associated construction works.

Dehradun Construction Cost Increased upto ₹200*

हम residential construction, commercial construction, prefab structures, fabrication work, renovation और turnkey projects सहित लगभग सभी प्रकार के construction solutions प्रदान करते हैं।

BIM Support Must for Construction in Dehradun

BIM support project ko safe, accurate aur cost-efficient banata hai.

  1. 3D Visualization Before Construction

Client ko ghar banne se pehle hi:
    Exterior elevation
    Interior layout
    Roof planning
    Window & ventilation planning
sab 3D me dikha sakte hain.
👉 Isse future changes aur mistakes kam ho jati hain.

  2. Accurate Quantity & Cost Estimation

    BIM automatically:
    Brickwork quantity
    RCC volume
    Steel weight
    Tile area
    Plumbing lines
    calculate karta hai.
Isse: ✔️ Over-material purchase kam hota hai
✔️ Budget control me rehta hai
✔️ Profit planning better hoti hai

  3. Clash Detection (Sabse Powerful Feature)

Electrical pipe aur plumbing line agar beam se takra rahi ho
ya structure me koi conflict ho
BIM software pehle hi detect kar leta hai.
👉 Site pe tod-phod aur rework bach jata hai.
👉 Labour aur time dono save hote hain.

  4. Structural Safety Planning (Important for Dehradun)

    Earthquake zone consideration
    Load calculation
    Foundation depth simulation
    Roof load planning
Especially hillside plots ke liye BIM support bahut useful hai.

  5. 4D & 5D Planning (Time + Cost Control)

    4D = Time scheduling
    5D = Cost integration
    Isse pata chal jata hai:
    Kaunsa kaam kab hoga
Kitna paisa kis stage pe lagega
Project delay control me rehta hai.

  6. Prefab + Rooftop Construction Integration

Agar aap prefab rooftop ya lightweight structure bana rahe ho,
    to BIM:
    MS framing detailing
    Panel layout
    Exact cutting sizes
    Fast execution planning
    me help karta hai.

🔥 Final Summary

Dehradun jaise region me BIM support ka matlab hai:
✔️ Smart Planning
✔️ Zero Guesswork
✔️ Controlled Budget
✔️ Earthquake Safety
✔️ Fast Execution
✔️ Professional Client Presentation
Aaj ke time me residential construction bina BIM ke karna matlab
blind planning karna hai.

Prefab Double Storey House for Chamoli ji at Neelkanth Nogaon, Pauri

Villa Construction for Mr. Rawat Ji at Rajeshwar Nagar, Sahastradhara Rd, Dehradun

This was a project of about 5000 sqft in which work was done from the foundation to a room with mumty. There was great coordination with the party, their taste was also very good and we used the best material in the city in the house. We first took the designs from Delusion Interior, an interior design firm, and started construction.

Foundation: There was an old house on the site, which we demolished and moved to an empty plot in front of us. A JCB was needed for the foundation because the old house’s base structure was entirely RCC, which couldn’t be demolished manually. When the house was demolished, the rear house was about 3 feet lower, due to which the foundation of the rear column had to be deepened further.

  • In this we used step footing which was isolated footings of all the columns. Some columns were close together and their column foundations were connected.
