5000sqft Tin Shed for SK Oilfeild, Rajpur Rd, Dehradun

Tin Shed SK OilField Dehradun

STEP 01: MEETING & DESIGN:

There was a lot of pomp in the house. There were a lot of ups and downs in the roof, so deciding what to design the shed took a lot of time. Amit ji was the representative there, he was clear that the water should not come from anywhere and should look good. We gave 2 options for the tin shed design out of which one was finalized.

Step 02: STRUCTURE DESIGN

After advance payment and agreement, we started the work of the structure which was fixed by cutting grouting of all the plates. All the material was dropped on the site of Tata 18 Gauge and red oxide was applied on it. Our experienced craftsmen designed a very strong and beautiful structure which we enameled in Silver Grey colour as it matches the colour of the sheets from below. The structure took us 20 days to complete, with the shed being built in 2-3 layers. We then ordered the sheets while the paint work was still going on at the site.

Step 03: SHEET & ACCESSORIES FIXING

First of all we installed rain gutters, which were 5in size, the colour of all the sheets and accessories was kept red. After that we started installing the sheets, the air pressure was very high so the screws were used a little more than normal. We removed the guard film from the sheet and then installed the ridge on top. This work also took four days. The team really liked the work, and we are very happy about it.

Step 04: Downpipes

The look of the shed would be of no use if some amateur plumber had installed the downpipes incorrectly. We got the plumbing work done ourselves and charged extra for it, but it was a very perfect job, costing around Rs 180 per foot. The pipe used was Tata and sheet 0.45mm Jindal.

Renovation in Dehradun for Ajay Bisht Ji – Aman Vihar

We are getting all the projects with engineers only, don’t know whether this is good or bad. Ajay Bisht is an engineer by profession and we got the opportunity to work at his place. A client has come from Chandigarh that day, and madam came to discuss our for their house renovation and paid advance at the same time. Madam was clear about what she wanted. We are mentioning the scope of work in the below points.

  • The kitchen area had to be developed, the roof had to be extended there and the kitchen had to be developed on top of it.
  • There was an open terrace outside so there was a leakage issue, it had to be converted into a hall.
  • It was to be developed like a party hall which would have an open kitchen and a powder room.
  • Mussoorie view was not available from above, so the roof had to be extended and a deck type structure was made above so that the view could be obtained.
  • We had to do all the plumbing, tiles, masonry, fabrication and electrical work from start to end. This project was mostly in prefabrication.
  • Later, we also had to build an entry ramp for them. It was difficult as all this work had to be done during the rainy season.

It took us more time to complete the project because of the rain. We had the issue of leakage which wasted a lot of our time because the side wall was dead from the neighbour’s end and was getting wet again and again. This project was a low budget project, minimal expenditure was incurred in the project by using cost effective things. Photos and videos of the project will be available on our YouTube channel. We are also embedding a video below. Will upload photos soon.
